Is Your Body the Temple of Doom? (1 Corinthians 6)

How have you used your body to bring glory to God this week?

How do you decide which physical activities are "right" and which physical activities are "wrong?"

Read 1 Corinthians 6:12. Make a list of behaviors which might be okay to do, but are not necessarily beneficial.

What do you think it means to "not be mastered by anything?"

What types of activities have you observed which can become addictive? What activities in your own life can become addictive?

How do you avoid being mastered by things? What areas of your life require more self-control?

List 3-5 physical activities you can do this week which will bring glory to God.

List 2-3 physical activities you will avoid this week so that you don't dishonor God.

Re-write 1 Corinthians 6:19 in your own words.

If your body is God's temple, do you think He is happy with how you are caring for it? Why or why not?

If God were to ask you to change one thing about how you care for His temple, what would he ask? Would you change it?

How can this group assist you or pray for you as you consider these changes?
