What do you think it means to "delight in evil?"
What are some examples of people who celebrate when bad things happen? What are some examples of people who encourage others to do wrong? How might we sometimes accidentally encourage others to do wrong?
Is it okay for Christians to celebrate when someone like Osama Bin Laden or Adolph Hitler is killed? Why or why not?
What are ways people sometimes unwittingly give approval to wrong-doing? Have you ever been encouraged by someone else to do something wrong? How did you respond?
What do you think it means to "rejoice with the truth?"
Does love always tell people the truth? Why or why not?
Give examples of situations in which the loving thing is to tell someone a difficult truth? Why is this sometimes hard to do? What are the excuses people sometimes use to avoid these kind of discussions?
Is it more difficult to give loving, corrective advice or to receive it? Why?
What are some things people should try to do when they have to give loving and true advice that might be hurtful?
What do you need to do this week to bring more loving truth into your life? How can this group pray for you?
